Awarded Best Customer Service in the UK
Last night we picked up the ‘Best Customer Service in the UK’ award from the Garden Centre Association. The result was announced at the annual GCA conference dinner at the Mercure Bristol Hotel, building on last year’s award successes including being named ‘Best Garden Centre in the UK’ for the first time.
Garden Centre Director, Mark Cleary said; “To be named ‘best in the UK’ for our customer service is amazing. The team’s priority is always to make our customers’ visits enjoyable, and to be recognised for that on a national stage is fantastic.
“To also be awarded ‘Centre of Excellence’ status for another year is a brilliant achievement. Every year we strive to maintain and improve standards to ensure we get better and better. Being named within this prestigious list of ‘Top 10 Garden Centres’ in the UK is great recognition of everyone’s hard work. A big thank you to our incredible team who work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that the centre is always at its best.
“This year we are celebrating 30 years since my wife, Christina and I started the business. We’ve grown a little since our 6×4 greenhouse and we’re delighted to now be named alongside such fantastic garden centres around the UK!”
The GCA represents over 200 garden centres nationwide. The annual awards are decided by the results of the annual inspections, which take place at all GCA garden centres. Garden centres have no advance warning about when their inspection will take place and they do not have the option to turn away the inspector.
