Festuca glauca 'Intense Blue' is a fantastic archetectural grass that will add interest to any area its planted in! The grass is a fantastic blue colour and forms a mounded fan of foliage. It blooms during the summer with small brown flowers held on slim stems, however this plant is grown mostly for its intense blue colouring all year round (evergreen). Phyllostachys 'Aurea' known often as the golden bamboo or fish pole bamboo is a brilliant bamboo that has bright green new growth before maturing to a brilliant golden colour which really stands out against the green foliage. The plant's growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season. Delivery Note: Please note that unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver plants to Northern Ireland. DELIVERY INFORMATION: To avoid damage in transit some large, delicate or tall plants will be delivered using a wooden pallet. The pallet will be delivered using a heavy goods vehicle and the driver will need plenty of room to deliver as well as needing someone to sign for the delivery. As the deliveries are kerbside, this means that the driver will take the pallet off the lorry and will only be able to move the pallet to a close and easily accessible place from the road. The driver will not be able to wheel the delivery across any uneven surface such as grass, gravel or up or down steps and will not unload the items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. If there are any issues with the access to your property, please contact us before your order is dispatched so that we can discuss possible alternative arrangements - failure to do so may result in a failed delivery and a re-delivery charge may be applicable. Please note that some areas including Central London, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland may be subject to an additional delivery surcharge. The difference between this and 'aurea' variety is that the stems on this can grow in an upright zig-zag fashion, which is both alluring and offers a unique point of interest. Pseudosasa japonica (sometimes known as Arundinaria japonica), is a brilliant bamboo with long slender leaves that reach of stems like fingers. It makes quite a dense bamboo when mature, which is why it is often used as a screening and hedging plant. The Robusta 'Pingwu' has a rather upright growth habit that forms dense clumps of vibrants green canes. Fargesia 'Rufa' Bamboo has brilliant bright green young shoots, and over time will form a very upright clump forming plant which can reach a height of around 3m. As the shoots mature, occasionally orrange suffusion can be seen in the stems if the soild conditions are correct.
